Melissa Z. Golub is the owner of MZG Counseling, LLC. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Virginia Board Certified Social Work Supervisor, and a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP).
She specializes in working with young adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, and life stressors. She also enjoys working with people who want to utilize a holistic approach to wellness - to explore the ways that food, exercise, and lifestyle changes can impact mood.
Melissa attended the University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree and received her Masters in Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Melissa has almost a decade of experience working as a clinical social worker and has been in private practice since 2017.
Melissa holds active licenses in Virginia and Maryland.

Our practice is dedicated to providing affordable, accessible, high-quality mental health care. We currently accept the following insurance plans:

If you have coverage through one of these providers, we can bill your insurance directly.
For all other insurance plans, we are considered an out-of-network provider. While we do not bill out-of-network insurers directly, we’re happy to provide a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance to request reimbursement.
