Melissa Z. Golub, LCSW

Melissa Z. Golub is the owner of MZG Counseling, LLC and has been in private practice since 2017. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia and Maryland, a Virginia Board Certified Social Work Supervisor, a Certified Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Professional, and a Certified Integrative Medicine and Nutrition for Type 2 Diabetes, Cognitive Decline, and Alzheimer's Disease provider.
She primarily works with young adults ages 14+ who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life stressors. She combines traditional psychotherapy practices with holistic interventions to address mental health.

Melissa attended the University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree and received her Masters in Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Melissa is also currently enrolled in Notre Dame of Maryland to pursue another graduate degree in Integrative Medicine and Functional Nutrition, with the hopes of becoming a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS).
