Melissa Z. Golub is the owner of MZG Counseling, LLC. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Board Certified Social Work Supervisor, and a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP).
She specializes in working with young adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, and life stressors. She also enjoys working with people who want to utilize a holistic approach to wellness - to explore the ways that food, exercise, and lifestyle changes can impact mood.
Melissa attended the University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree and received her Masters in Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Melissa has almost a decade of experience working as a clinical social worker and has been in private practice since 2017.

SUPERVISION
I am a Virginia board-approved Supervisor. As such, I am available to provide one-on-one and group supervision to new clinicians.
I am also available to staff cases for therapists who are seeking consultation.

FOOD AS MEDICINE
As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider (CIMHP), I can help you explore how your dietary consumption is affecting your mental health.
By connecting your physical and mental health, you will (hopefully!) experience lasting, sustainable wellness.
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Over the past few years, I have facilitated workshops in schools and in community spaces on the mind-body connection. I am passionate about the work I do and am excited to share my knowledge with others!
